About Me: Karina Veas, M.A.  Right now, I am going on my eighth year in the classroom and am currently working at the elementary level. I have worked with an array of students in both the private and public sector of education. As a native of Southern Californian, early on I witnessed the plight and struggle that many families experience day-to-day. By working with parents in classrooms and in churches, I believe that children should be viewed as the future. With the understanding that it is important to become a much needed female role model, I went against the traditions of my family and was the first to obtain a Bachelors degree and Masters degree from Azusa Pacific University. In order to become more qualified and to obtain opportunities in the public school system, I also received teaching and administrative credentials. He trabajado con una serie de estudiantes en el sector privado y público de la educación, Como nativo del sur californiano, temprano yo en presencie el apuro y la lucha que muchas familias experimentan dia adia diario. Trabajando con padres en aulas y en iglesias, yo creo que niños deben ser vistos como el futuro. Con la comprensión que es importante llegar a ser un gran modelo femenino yo fui en contra de las tradiciones de mi familia y fui la primer de obtener una licenciatura y el máster de Azusa la Universidad Pacifica. Para llegar a ser más calificado y para obtener las oportunidades en el sistema escolar público, yo también recibí la enseñanza y credencial adminstrarive.
